  • Develops and refines advanced threat hunting strategies to continuously mature the organization's capability to discover novel threat vectors.
Data Analysis & Threat Intelligence Integration
  • Conducts exhaustive analysis of raw network telemetry, system logs, and security event data to unearth actionable hunting leads.
  • Cross-references internal network trends and enterprise activity with external, cutting-edge threat intelligence to identify global threat patterns and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Collaborates seamlessly with Threat Detection and Incident Response analysts to share insights, contextualize data, and drive a unified defensive posture.
Security Engineering & Automation
  • Architects, builds, and deploys custom threat hunting tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and reach of discovery efforts.
  • Implements automation capabilities to streamline the identification of sophisticated adversaries, reducing manual investigative overhead and accelerating time-to-detection.

  • Serves as a primary analytical lead and responder when an Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) or other significant compromise is discovered during hunting operations.
  • Executes end-to-end incident response protocols for critical and high-severity security incidents to contain and eradicate threats.
  • Identifies and recommends critical mitigations for architectural vulnerabilities discovered during the course of threat hunting engagements.
Required Qualifications:

  • Experience using tools and scripting languages such as Splunk, Python & PowerShell.
  • Ability to turn Threat Intelligence into actionable information.

  • Relevant certifications.
Clearance Requirements:
