Job Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team. As a key defender of the enterprise network, you will continuously monitor, hunt for, and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools and open-source intelligence. Additionally, you will proactively harden our security posture by fine-tuning perimeter defenses and sustaining critical cybersecurity applications. This position is fully remote.

Job Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team. As a key defender of the enterprise network, you will continuously monitor, hunt for, and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools and open-source intelligence. Additionally, you will proactively harden our security posture by fine-tuning perimeter defenses and sustaining critical cybersecurity applications. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Continuous Threat Monitoring & Detection
- Participating in 24x7x365 surveillance of the enterprise network environment utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and other cybersecurity tools to identify unauthorized activity and emerging threats.
- Executing deliberate, capability-driven actions to protect the network, mitigate vulnerabilities, and respond decisively to specific security alerts, unauthorized access attempts, and active cyber threats.
- Conducting in-depth reviews of logged events and network traffic to identify anomalous trends, specifically hunting for Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and evasive "low and slow" attacks that bypass traditional detection.
- Leveraging intelligence resources, including Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), to maintain active situational awareness of the evolving threat landscape and anticipate potential adversary tactics.
- Providing ongoing technical analysis and sustainment support for enterprise cybersecurity applications, while actively assisting in the implementation of defense-in-depth signatures and perimeter controls to systematically diminish network attack surfaces.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents.
- Working knowledge of at least two types of security tools: Firewall, IDS/IPS, Host based antivirus, Data loss prevention, Vulnerability Management, Forensics, Malware Analysis, Device Hardening.
- Understanding of Defense-in-Depth.
- Ability to build scripts and tools to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities (Preferably in SPL, Python, PowerShell)
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- Relevant certifications.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess a DoD current Top-Secret clearance.
