Job Overview
We are seeking an Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. You will provide expert-level support across the entire federal acquisition lifecycle, driving comprehensive activities from initial procurement planning and policy development to ongoing contract administration and final closeout. Additionally, you will leverage deep, specialized knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to conduct rigorous proposal evaluations, cost and price analyses, and contractor performance management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Full Acquisition Lifecycle Management: Guides and executes all phases of the procurement process, including initial acquisition planning, active contract administration, performance management oversight, and comprehensive contract closeout procedures.
Proposal Evaluation & Analytical Support: Conducts rigorous assessments of vendor submissions, specifically performing detailed technical proposal analyses, comprehensive price/cost analyses, and overarching proposal evaluations to ensure best value.
Policy Development & Strategic Guidance: Authors, refines, and implements specialized acquisition-related policies, guidelines, and standardized procedures to optimize procurement operations and ensure organizational alignment.
Regulatory Compliance & FAR Expertise: Applies expert-level knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure that all contracting actions, evaluations, and administrative processes remain strictly compliant with federal statutes and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Must possess a bachelor’s degree
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen
Must possess a DoD Secret clearance
