Apply to IT Systems Audit Manager
We are seeking an IT Systems Audit Manager to join our team. You will lead and execute accounting or audit projects that support management decision‑making, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. You will serve as a primary client interface, guiding project teams, ensuring quality deliverables, and managing day‑to‑day engagement activities. This is a fully remote position with some periodic travel required to Fort Belvoir, VA or other locations within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accounting & Advisory Expertise: Applies accounting principles, regulations, and analytical methods to solve complex problems, develop client solutions, and support informed managerial decisions.
- Project Leadership & Management: Designs, implements, and oversees accounting or audit projects; manages day‑to‑day engagement activities; directs completion of tasks within established timelines and budgets.
- Client Engagement & Communication: Interfaces with clients daily, leads meetings, delivers presentations, and ensures deliverables meet performance standards and contractual requirements.
- Team Collaboration & Oversight: Provides guidance on project tasks, participates in engagement planning, and reviews teamwork products for completeness, compliance, and quality.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), in good standing.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field of study
- A minimum of six (6) years of applicable financial or business experience, including at least two (2) years with the government leading and providing technical direction on audit and/or audit advisory projects.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Knowledgeable in OMB Circulars A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control; A-127, Financial Management Systems; A-134, Financial Accounting Principles and Standards; and the Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual requirements

- Experience working with DoD/DLA
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance
