Job Overview

We are seeking a DoD Logistics Data & Packaging Analyst to join our team. You will analyze transportation, stock-readiness, and packaging data to improve supply-chain visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational readiness. You will apply DoD transportation and packaging requirements- including Performance Oriented Packaging (POP), DTR 4500.9-R, and ISPM 15-to support compliant, data-driven logistics operations. This is an onsite position available in New Cumberland, PA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Logistics Data Analysis & Reporting: Query, analyze, validate, and present logistics, transportation, inventory, and stock-readiness data using Excel and Power BI. Develop recurring dashboards, reports, and actionable performance insights for program and Government stakeholders.
  • DoD Transportation Support: Support transportation planning, shipment coordination, and logistics performance analysis in alignment with Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) 4500.9-R requirements. Identify data trends, exceptions, and process-improvement opportunities affecting movement and readiness.
  • Stock Readiness & Supply-Chain Performance: Assess stock availability, materiel readiness, inventory status, and related logistics metrics. Translate analytical findings into recommendations that strengthen operational readiness and supply-chain decision-making.
  • Packaging Compliance & Engineering Support: Apply Performance Oriented Packaging (POP) principles to evaluate packaging requirements, support package design or selection, and ensure protection of materiel during storage and transportation.
  • International Shipping & Wood Packaging Compliance: Support compliance with ISPM 15 Wood Packaging Material standards for applicable international shipments. Maintain documentation and coordinate with logistics stakeholders to mitigate packaging-related shipment risks.
  • Process Improvement & Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with logistics, transportation, warehousing, and program teams to resolve data-quality issues, standardize reporting processes, and improve the timeliness, accuracy, and compliance of logistics support activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four (4) years supporting DoD transportation, stock-readiness, or packaging programs.
  • Familiarity with Performance Oriented Packaging (POP).
  • Familiarity with Defense Transportation Regulation ETR 4500.9-R.
  • Familiarity with ISPM 15 Wood Packaging Material standards.
  • Familiarity with Excel/Power BI data querying and reporting.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a DoD current Secret clearance.
