Job Overview

We are seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to join our team. You will provide comprehensive security engineering support across the system lifecycle, integrating specialized methodologies to resolve complex cybersecurity and technology challenges. Additionally, you will systematically analyze security requirements to optimize organizational workflows, project planning, and secure system deployments. You will be located in Richmond, VA. This position does require travel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Cybersecurity Engineering & Lifecycle Support: Delivering end-to-end security engineering support that encompasses the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems to ensure robust security postures.
  • Systems Integration & Requirements Analysis: Evaluating critical information security requirements and seamlessly integrating electronic processes and methodologies to resolve overarching system vulnerabilities and technology-specific cybersecurity problems.
  • Systematic Problem Resolution & Workflow Optimization: Applying rigorous analytical and systematic approaches to execute routine project tasks, resolve specialized cybersecurity challenges, and enhance organizational workflow, structuring, and planning.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experienced with ACAS Administrator.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience maintaining Vulnerability scanning solutions in a DOD environment.
  • Highly proficient with Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support -AND- System Administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III.
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a DoD current Secret clearance.
