Job Overview
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You will utilize various types of heavy machinery to excavate, load, and transport earth and materials across project sites. Additionally, you are responsible for interpreting site plans and performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on their assigned equipment.

Job Overview
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You will utilize various types of heavy machinery to excavate, load, and transport earth and materials across project sites. Additionally, you are responsible for interpreting site plans and performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on their assigned equipment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Heavy Machinery Operation: Proficiency in driving and operating a diverse fleet of large-scale construction equipment, including cranes, clamshells, power shovels, motor graders, heavy loaders, carryalls, bulldozers, rollers, scrapers, and large industrial tractors equipped with pan or scraper attachments.
- Material Handling and Earthmoving: Executing critical site preparation and logistical tasks by using equipment to safely and efficiently excavate, load, transfer, and distribute dirt, gravel, and other construction materials.
- Site Plan Interpretation: Applying technical understanding to survey and layout materials by reading and interpreting grade stakes, slope stakes, and simple blueprints or project plans to ensure accurate grading and excavation.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Conducting preventative and responsive mechanical upkeep, which includes greasing moving parts, adjusting machine settings, and performing emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Any related certifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- A current Secret clearance is highly desired.
