Job Overview
We are seeking an Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) III to join our team. You will expertly guide the complete federal acquisition lifecycle from initial strategic planning through final contract closeout. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to evaluate proposals, perform detailed price/cost analyses, and develop comprehensive acquisition policies.

Job Overview
We are seeking an Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) III to join our team. You will expertly guide the complete federal acquisition lifecycle from initial strategic planning through final contract closeout. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to evaluate proposals, perform detailed price/cost analyses, and develop comprehensive acquisition policies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Acquisition Lifecycle Management: Directs and supports all phases of the procurement process, encompassing acquisition planning, contract administration, performance management, and contract closeout.
- Proposal Evaluation & Analysis: Conducts comprehensive assessments of vendor submissions, executing intricate price/cost analyses and in-depth technical proposal evaluations.
- Policy & Guideline Development: Formulates, drafts, and implements critical acquisition-related policies, standard operating procedures, and procedural guidelines to optimize acquisition operations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Expertise: Applies expert-level knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure strict compliance, mitigate risk, and provide strategic advisory support across all contracting activities.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must receive customer suitability prior to entry on duty (EOD)
